VIRTUAL CLASSES 2020

VIRTUAL CLASSES

Join the River Forest Community Center online as we are offering some of our PROGRAMS VIRTUALLY!

Greatest Showman Summer Camp (ages 6-12 yrs)

From time spent in the studio to the limelight of the stage, each camper will explore a wide variety of performing arts during the premiere season of this camp. Empower your child by exposing them to the performing arts. We allow our campers to pursue creative dreams while building confidence, authenticity, and presence This camp provides children with an opportunity to participate in a musical theatre experience in an environment of encouragement and support. This original musical features age-appropriate excerpts from the smash hit movie musical The Greatest Showman. Boost your camper’s confidence level as they perform in a final showcase performance. Daily activities include acting, singing, and dancing workshops. We will also go behind the scenes and discover the world of art, set design, and costuming. The Children’s Theatre Co. has been empowering children through the performing arts since 1993. Our goal is to excite and embolden your child to generate imaginative ideas through the medium of musical theater. We focus on building skills such as teamwork, confidence, body control, memorization, improvisation, and more. Most importantly, we teach the basics of singing, acting, dancing, while expressing mood, emotion, instinct, and independence. Our qualified instructors work closely with children to inspire creativity creating musical theatre performances through the voices of our students. Min 6/Max 12.
