 Showbiz Kids Days (ages 3 1/2 -6 years)

Does your little one love to act, sing and dance as characters from your favorite musicals? Students will dance, sing and be introduced as they learn techniques centered on theme. Using props, costumes, theatre games and movement ,children will develop knowledge, skill and understanding of musical theatre. Min 6/Max 20.

Date 2: Tuesday, March 14th (The Lion King)
Date 3: Tuesday, April 18th (Trools)
Date 4: Tuesday, May 16th (The Little Mermaid)
Time: 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

Young Performers Program….Camp Rock Jr. (Ages 5-6 years)

In the Young Performers Program, kids will have their first chance to perform on stage!  Students will attend weekly rehearsals to learn songs, dance routines and work on our show. Each child will receive their own special part in the play. Our highly accredited instructors work with students every step of the way, from teaching weekly classes to directing the final production. Students will be given a rehearsal CD and script for practicing at home. Children must be able to attend the first day of class for “audition” of parts. Absences must be limited to two class sessions to participate. The final performance date and time to be determined.

Session I: February 7 – May 9 (No class 2/21, 3/29)

Performance Program….Camp Rock Jr. (Ages 7-14 years)

Are you ready to take the stage? The Performance Program allows new and continuing students to perform on stage for friends and family in a full musical production. Students will rehearse weekly under the direction of our highly accredited vocal, dance and drama instructors. Children will be given the chance to explore the world of play through the use of original costumes, sets and class time devoted to charterer development. Each students will receive a rehearsal CD and script for personal practice. Children must be able to attend the first day of class for the “audition” of parts. Absences must be limited to two class sessions in order to participate. The final performance date and time to be determined.

Studio Performance Troupe….Alice in Wonderland Jr. (6th-8th grade)

This program will focus more intensely on the key elements of musical theatre. All students in this program will have the chance to perform in various showcases in the Chicagoland area as well as a final performance with the River Forest Community Center. Please note all Troupe members will be performing a musical theatre dance number at the Chicago Youth Dance Exhibition, date TBA. Class may include extra rehearsals. Children must be able to attend the first day of class for the “audition” of parts. Absences must be limited to two class sessions to participate. The final performance date and time is to be determined. Min 6/Max 20
