For almost 3 decades The Children’s Theatre Company has provided musical theatre classes for ALL AGES. Our mission is to empower students by exposing them to the performing arts by building confidence, authenticity, and presence.

Annie

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.

Annie Jr. (grades 2nd-5th)
All children have the opportunity to perform in a musical theater productionon stage. Actors rehearse weekly under the direction of our highly accredited vocal, dance, and drama instructors. The final performance includes original costumes, sound and set. Each child who auditions receives a part, an audio file and a script for personal practice. *FIRST REHEARSAL IS MANDATORY.
The final performance date and time is to be determined. Min 6/Max 20.

Young Performers Program Annie Jr.(grades K-1st)
Kids have their chance to perform on stage. All children attend weekly rehearsals to learn songs, dances, and lines. The class includes acting, games, singing, and dancing. Each child enrolled receives a part, an audio file, and a script for personal practice. Absences must be limited to two class sessions to participate. The final performance date and time is to be determined. Min 6/Max 20.

Performers Troupe for Annie Jr. (grades 6th-8th)

The Troupe is a highly competitive, advanced group. The students will perform Annie on stage and at two other venues. TBA. The students will learn how to work collaboratively; and in class they will learn character development, choreography and how to work and connect with their peers.
Are you ready to take the stage? Want to be a rock star, princess or super hero? Choose the theme for the day and the journey in the spotlight begins. Create an original musical explores the world of play by cultivating curiosity through theatre. Students will learn the importance of working together, using their imagination, and being flexible. Props and costumes provided. Join us for the last 15 minutes of class to watch our production
come to life.

Elf (grades 1st-5th)
Join us for this day off adventure where performers will embrace
her or his “inner elf,” in this modern-day musical classic!
Adventuring through New York City, join buddy, Charlie, Shawanda
and Jovie on their journey to spread the holiday cheer to all far
and near.

Improv (grades 1st-5th)
Compete in a series of improv games that are sure to keep you
on your toes. After lunch all participants will work on an original
skit that will be performed at the end of the day. Costumes will be
provided just bring your creativity and imagination. Leave all the
pressures of real life at the stage door.

Encanto (grades 1st-5th)
Live with the Madrigal family in the charming mountain town
of Encanto. Let the magic of Encanto charm you like every other
child, except Mirabel. Mirabel may not have been given any
unique gifts, but she is the Madrigal’s last hope! Help Mirabel save
her hometown of Encanto!

Date: Wed., December 28

Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Fee: $80 per day

Light Camera Action (grades 1st-5th)
Students will learn audition techniques, character creation, and
even write their own copy. All participants will gain experience
working on camera in a mock TV commercial audition, and film a
scripted scene.
