Yoga can provide your child with the opportunity to become more balanced physically, mentally and emotionally and is a great way to enhance coordination, balance and flexibility. Yoga classes teach your child group skills, self esteem, concentration, and provide an outlet for excess energy. The uplifting environment makes every class fun and leaves your child with a positive attitude toward the next one.
Classes include an introduction time with ice breaking activities. The brief explanation of yoga will show your child how to sit like a yogi and the fundamental aspects of yoga and yoga postures. Then there are warm-up routines, breathing exercises, balance exercises (like the Lotus), and of course, time for fun and games.
